We can’t predict what will change or when it will change.
I mean, who saw COVID coming? And the impacts?
Face masks; quarantines; no global travel; working from home; and no Chardonnay for weeks. I so loved an off the cuff comment last year from our daughter, Kate: “This COVID thing has forced us to take our masks off.” So true. We were unconsciously living our lives by rote, when abruptly, our lives changed, and that made all of us vulnerable. A bit like suddenly being back at kindergarten and having to learn playground tricks again, similar to using a seesaw swing for the first time. Can be really ‘ouch’ if you get it wrong.
When last were you on a seesaw swing? Or bungee jumping?
When last did you try something new?
When last did you step out of your comfort zone?
Is change your ‘new normal’?
